The vibrant spirit of Purim came alive at the recent "Purim in the Shuk" hosted by the “Israel Odyssey”. Held at the Arch Street Teen Center in Greenwich, CT, on March 24, the event brought together High School aged students for an evening filled with joy, tradition, and camaraderie.

The second installment of the Israel Odyssey series, featuring powerful Ted Talks from local speakers sharing their personal experiences about Israel and being Jewish.
Attendees heard from presenters speak on topics of IDF in Gaza, Collage Camps, High School, Social Media, and Volunteer Trip to Israel while Rabbi Yossi Deren provided insights on the history of the land.
Participants also contributed to a meaningful cause by baking Rachel's Cookies to support displaced Israelis, inspired by Rachel Edry's courageous act on October 7th.

Gaza to Greenwich
Chabad of Greenwich created waves this past Sunday with the launch of its Israel Odyssey series, an exclusive five-part program for local high school students. The inaugural event featured IDF soldier Mendel Gestetner, who shared gripping stories from his service in the Gaza war zone.
